BROOCH, mid 19th century, an open crescent set with old mine cut diamonds, the mount in an unhallmarked
yellow metal. The brooch is grain set with twenty three diamonds, the centre stone measuring 4.13mm x 3.75mm
(ca 0.32ct) and the remainder graduating in sizes (0.26ct), (0.024ct) etc to a pair of small rose cut diamonds
at either end. Total calculated diamond weight 2.74ct.
The brooch measures 54.5mm long and tested and valued as 15ct gold.
Gross weight 4.82 grams.
BROOCH, late 19th century, an oval amethyst within a surround of half pearls, the amethyst measuring
22.3mm x 17mm, 10.9mm depth (ca 10.61ct) and the half pearls 2.7mm diameter. The brooch measures
29.95mm x 24.2mm overall and is marked as “15CT” gold.
Gross weight 11.07 grams.
BROOCH, in a reproduction “Grima” style, an open lozenge shaped, bark finished
panel with three cultured pearls.
Brooch dimensions :- 39.8mm x 32.9mm. Unhallmarked, marked as “585”, testing
as 14ct gold. Also marked “HS”.
