Hand-made Ethical Jewellery
Heather achieved her dream of training as a jeweller after illness forced her to leave teaching. She creates unusual, eye-catching jewellery, using traditional skills and tools. Everything is designed and made by Heather in her rural Scottish studio. She says, 'I really enjoy making jewellery, and hope each item will give it's new owner a great deal of pleasure, becoming something to be treasured for many, many years'.
Heather has been using recycled silver for many years. Recycled from several sources, including from broken and discarded jewellery and cutlery, this is a high quality silver which meets the high standards of the Edinburgh Assay Office. She also up-cycles plumber's offcuts of copper pipe into unusual, organic textured pieces. In work, as in life, she keeps waste and her use of chemicals to an absolute minimum.
Heather aims to offer the highest standards of workmanship, materials and service.
