BROOCH, mid 19th century, an open crescent set with sapphires spaced by pairs of rose
cut diamonds, the brooch in an unhallmarked yellow metal.
The brooch is grain set with eleven sapphires, the centre stone measuring 5.52mm x 4.52mm
(ca 0.57ct) and the remainder graduating in sizes (0.29ct), (0.10ct) etc to a single oval sapphire
at either end. Total calculated sapphire weight 2.05ct.
The brooch measures 56.25mm long and tested and valued as if 9ct gold.

Cameo Brooch An oval shell cameo depicting classical figures and putti in a rural setting. The shell measures 45.5mm x 33.8mm and secured in a rubover setting with a twisted wire edging. The mount is 9ct yellow gold Sheffield Hallmarked for 1980.
