From her home in Gloucester, Marie Cole (aka Wee) began creating bold, colourful and sustainable handmade clothing designs in 2007. Wee Clothing has been selling handmade children's clothing to customers all around the world since 2008.
We want our clothing to be that favourite piece of clothing that you own. The one that makes you feel fabulous every time you wear it. You wash it endlessly and it just keeps looking good on you. It feels great because it’s well made. To ensure this we put a high emphasis on quality and comfort, we use ethically made materials for every piece of clothing. We cut out every design by hand and machine sew to ensure that every design is different in some small way just like the children that wear our clothing.
Our clothing is made from premium fair trade or organic cotton. We only use the softest cotton that is comforting and gentle on a child’s skin. To create the best possible designs we ensure that we only use the highest quality felt. It has to withstand high numbers of machine washes and have outstanding colour fastness so no colour is lost when washing or ironing.
Everyone who contributes to making our clothing work for a fair wage, in fair conditions, and in an ethical sustainable manner. They are BSCI compliant or equivalent and their code of conduct is a set of standards that they live by.
